Puff pastry gifts with fresh goat cheese, cranberry and cinnamon
Ingredients
- 2 slices (200 grams) Fresh Goat Cheese Cranberry-Cinnamon
- 6 slices of puff pastry from the freezer
- 1 egg
- (cinnamon) sugar
- walnuts or a bag of pine nuts
- for garnish: cinnamon sticks and loose dried cranberries
Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and defrost the puff pastry sheets.
For the larger lunch version, leave the puff pastry slices whole. For the mini versions, cut the puff pastry slices into quarters.
Crumble the goat cheese into pieces, place them in the puff pastry and add a walnut or some pine nuts, if desired.
Fold the corners of the puff pastry towards each other and seal them with a little water.
Beat the egg and brush it onto the folded puff pastry parcels. Sprinkle some (cinnamon) sugar on top of the parcels.
Place the snacks in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes until the pastry is crispy.
Garnish the goat cheese gifts on a platter with a few cinnamon sticks and some loose cranberries for an extra festive atmosphere.
